Well Done, Medium Or Rare Architects redesigns Covent Garden property
Published: 30-Jan-2013
UK-based Well Done, Medium Or Rare Architects have redesigned a two-bedroom property at a listed building in the centre of Covent Garden, London.
The idea behind the project by Well Done, Medium Or Rare Architects was to bring the New York loft-style living to a listed building in the centre of Covent Garden. With bespoke industrial fittings, this two-bedroom property was entirely refurbished to make best use of the original features of the previous Victorian hospital site.
The design incorporates exposed services as an art piece and is also touted as the first residential project to use Luminoso as a feature. Luminoso is a transparent wood that allows infiltration of light. Luminoso has been used to create backlit headboards for the two beds in the property.
The redesign was completed in October 2012.
