Stepevi launches Coupage rug collection at Maison & Objet 2012

Istanbul-based rug manufacturer Stepevi has launched the Coupage rug range at Maison & Objet 2012 held from 20 to 24 January 2012 in Paris, France.

The design of the collection reflects the cultures as well as history of villagers in Turkey. The Coupage rugs sport a natural and conventional style and have been manufactured with the help of patches procured from different hemp flat weaves. This draws references from the traditional method when hemp yarn was used to produce flat weaves, bags, and saddlebags which were used as floor coverings at the time.

All the rugs of this series incorporate a distinct design, weave, and tone. It offers options of seven colourways to meet individual tastes of customers. The design of the new rugs are also ideal to be used in any contemporary interior.
