Pedrali showcases new products at Maison & Objet fair
Italian brand Pedrali showcased Colette table lamp and Koi-Booki chair at the 2013 edition of Maison & Objet fair in Paris.
The essential shape of Colette makes it modern and vital, exactly like the namesake French author that inspired the designers Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodar. Colette table lamp is characterised by the plasticity of the shapes and colours.
A translucent cylinder completely spills the light only in correspondence of the half-sphere. Its transparency gives lightness to the whole lamp. It is completely made of polycarbonate and is available in five colours of white opaline, smoked, transparent yellow, transparent turquoise and transparent red.
Koi-Booki chair has been designed by design Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci. Koi-Booki is a polypropylene chair, which is 100% recyclable with injected polypropylene shell. The chair’s legs are made of extruded aluminium with frame made of die-casted aluminium.
Available in white, beige, orange, black or blue, the chair comes with either satinised or matching powder coated frame. A prototype of Koi-Booki chair was first presented in Milan during the 2012 edition of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile.
Pedrali showcased its collection at Now! Design à vivre, the hall dedicated to the contemporary design. The fair was held from 18-22 January in Paris.
