Published: 09-Jan-2013

S4B, the Equitix-led partnership that includes British developer Galliford Try and the housing and regeneration organisation Contour Homes, has been named as the preferred bidder for the £100 million ($160.62 million) Brunswick regeneration scheme in Manchester.

Transforming the Brunswick area of East Manchester, the new housing scheme has been designed to provide 522 new homes as well as new community facilities.

The regeneration scheme also includes the construction of an Extra Care centre and retail units. In addition to that the project also includes extensive infrastructure and remodelling work.

British repairs and maintenance contractor Mears will refurbish a further 653 homes and provide ongoing facilities management services under the project.
