DWP Architects designs 'Everrich 2' residential community in Vietnam

Published: 15-Jun-2010

DWP Architects, a Vietnam-based architecture firm, has designed 'Everrich 2,' a new residential community which is under construction in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The 630,000 square meters, 37 story complex will house 3100 apartment units ranging from 120 to 250 square meters each. The facility has two floors of mixed retail and public space on the ground level.

Developed by phat dat real estate development corporation, the complex has been influenced by a single continuous loop, or a Mobius strip and takes on the shape of an undulating organic wave. The design of the building creates different views, sun angles and breeze flows throughout. Other green strategies like using precast concrete and local masonry are used in the construction.

The design involves a number of sustainable features including natural ventilation, sky gardens, green roofs and lavational shading treatments which will enable the building to be very efficient in terms of energy usage.

Construction has been started in January 2010, with completion scheduled for Febraury 2012.
