Duravit introduces Kiora kitchen sink

Published: 03-Feb-2012

German firm Duravit has launched the Kiora kitchen sink.

The new sink, designed by Sieger Design, sports an elegant style with simple straight-lined pattern. The draining board of the sink has a gentle tilt which allows water to flow back into the sink from the utensils. The piece's frame, measuring 50mm in width, incorporates a slim and sophisticated style. It tapers inward while offering splash protection during dish washing.

Kiora offers surface-mounted installation choice or can be inset into the worktop. It can be set up as a right or left-handed bowl owing to the tap's axial design with centrally-positioned outlets, tap fitting, as well as pop-up waste control. The sink widths and the size of its draining boards are in tune with each other. The piece is also flexible as a spacious internal bowl or an extra small waste bowl.

The sink incorporates DuraCeram which makes it strong and offers it high impact resistance. It provides options of several shades like white, pergamon, chestnut, matt anthracite and black. The design of the item makes it ideal to be used in any type of kitchen, whether large or compact.
