Davide Oppizzi creates Ametis bathroom line for GRAFF

Published: 16-Feb-2012

Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based firm GRAFF has launched the Ametis bathroom collection.

The line has been designed by DCUBE's Davide Oppizzi and comprises faucet and shower columns. The design of the range represents the fusion of the universe and oceans. The pieces of the collection, characterised by fluid and sensuous curves, are equipped with advanced RGB LED lighting.

The Ametis faucet sports a curvy shape and a toggle-like handle which swivles in both directions to facilitate water flow and temperature control. The faucet range is made entirely in brass while offering options of chrome, white and black finish. The black version receives a powder coating treatment to incorporate a matte texture. The faucet imbibes an electronic system and a coloured ring. The ring alters its tone from red to blue and vice versa on the basis of changes in the water temperature.

The Ametis shower column combines a chromatherapy system with RGB LED lighting within the ring. The lighting generates indirect light. The shower column is made of a curved steel bar. It comes in finishes of chrome, black and white with matte texture. The shower head dons a circular shape and features white, red, green and blue RGB shades. Body sprays are positioned along the column which measures 63 inches in height.
